Living on the Niokolodge camp
The Niokolodge is an exceptional place, immersed in nature. To ensure a pleasant and safe experience, it is essential to follow a few common sense rules.
This space is a loan from the wild nature where we are invited. Let us be discreet and respectful in all circumstances, both towards the other members of the camp and towards the environment around us.
Bottled mineral water is precious and offered as much as you want during your stay. Bottles are provided daily for brushing teeth. The sanitary water, drawn from the Gambia River, is filtered for hot showers at any time.
Our vehicles, the restaurant and the tents are non-smoking, in accordance with Senegalese legislation and out of respect for other guests. Use the ashtrays in the smoking area and bring your own ashtrays during game-drive stops.
Safety above all
You are in the middle of wild nature. The camp may be frequented by lions, hippos, snakes, hyenas, and leopards. During your stay, you undertake to follow the safety instructions given by the team on site.
For reasons of securing infrastructures, children are welcome from the age of 12, provided they remain under the close supervision of their parents at all times.
Never throw cigarette butts into the park: the risk of fire is permanent. This rule is essential, not only for ethics, but also for everyone's safety.
